What belongs in code?

Exact lookups, permissions, calculations, due dates and required-record checks. Random selection must use the applicable compliant selection process, not an AI guess. The model helps interpret language; it does not waive requirements.

What belongs in your reference library?

Applicable Part 40 and DOT-agency requirements, approved procedures, role definitions, source dates and controlled versions. FMCSA programs also involve Part 382 and Clearinghouse duties. This page is an introduction, not a complete regulatory checklist.

What would an inspector need?
